Ngong Ping Plateau’s Buddha Walk

My favourite experience on Ngong Ping Plateau was the Buddha Walk. The main attractions were noisy and crowded but this section escaped the throngs.

Perhaps the tall wooden monoliths didn’t warrant any attention to some, but as I walked away from the crowds and found these sentinels towering over the lush hillside, peace washed over me. Chinese calligraphy trailed down the columns positioned along a circular path. Beyond, nothing could be seen but green vegetation.
