Mt Inwangsan’s Zen Rocks’ power

I climbed Mt Inwangsan to the Zen Rocks where a woman gestured before the boulders in prayer. This was where those who couldn’t conceive came in the hope the Zen Rocks would answer their need.

Further up the hill snaked the fortress wall originally built in the 14th century to protect the city against invaders, a reminder of Seoul’s dangerous past. I continued up Baegak Mountain to a huge bronze bell, tucked away in a quiet part of the city.
