A Vancouver treasure

There’s a building I’ve always admired in downtown Vancouver but I’d never been inside.

This week I sky trained west and veered straight for the building, determined to explore the interior. I wove through pedestrians, something I rarely have to do in my area, until I waited for the lights to change opposite the grand old building. Stepping through the magnificent entrance, I expected the grandeur to continue but found the foyer a little tacky. Inside the elevator was more what I expected. As I wandered up steps and into the coffee shop, I decided that I’ll just keep admiring the exterior
