The very north of New Zealand

I drove to Cape Reinga with the last seventeen kilometres on unsurfaced road. Turning south, a deserted beach curved to the next point while wind gnashed the air. To the east, lay more isolated beaches left to gulls, wind and beautiful vegetation.

The ocean shimmered aqua, a backdrop to a signpost that signaled how far I was from home.

  1. Beautiful shots! New Zealand always caught my imagination, and yesterday, on a hill in Barcelona, I met two nice Kiwis. I invited them to visit me in my hometown, since it looked like a clear sign that the time to visit their one has come.
