We roamed the city where every corner or square I passed had a name I was long familiar with: Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Sotheby’s, Madison Avenue and on it went. I imagined some of these locations to be larger than life and was disappointed to find Rockefeller Center, for example, squeezed into a tiny space amongst high-rise.
Still, many of the buildings were impressive. We walked into a store where my daughter had her eyes on the clothes. My eyes feasted on the Art Deco stairs and entranceway.
We witness a rap-dancing exhibition on the street as well as Roald Dahl’s Broadway show, Matilda where the children stole the show.
