My introduction to Uganda

I travelled over land through western Kenya to Uganda. Having no preconceptions about the land locked country, meant every sight left me spellbound.

Firstly, there was the lush landscape I motored through. Banana trees waved over rich soil. Beside the road, women gathered in multi-coloured dresses to their ankles with oversized puffed sleeves and the same fabric wrapped around their heads. This was different from the way women dressed in Kenya.
