I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been to Calgary to visit my daughter. During those visits, I’ve walked every regional park on the outskirts of the city, followed the Bow and Elbow River trails and gone to the Badlands.
This visit, I hung around the city since my daughter moved to the north of the river where it was just a walk across the pedestrian bridge to get there.

Visiting in November may not be a great idea. The last time I went in November, it was -30. But then there’s the +15s. If you’ve never been on the prairies, you’re probably wondering what I’m talking about.
The signs are everywhere and the fifteen stands for feet even though Canada’s metric. So instead of going out in the -30 temperatures, it’s better to cross the street above ground and stay warm; fifteen feet up to be exact.

interesting, thanks for sharing
