The local beach may have had a line of boats along the pier, but that didn’t lessen its appeal. It was long and wide with white sand and the ocean was refreshing.
There were few swimmers but during the afternoon, I couldn’t help notice the photographers.

Further along a woman posed for at least fifteen minutes. She flung a brightly coloured fabric to the wind reminiscent of a Hindi movie where the female singer allowed the end of her sari to fly in the breeze.
Closer at hand, I thought an Asian couple were going for a swim but no, it was selfie time. They posed together, apart, she jumped in the air and when he finally, put his camera back on the beach, she ran and retrieved it to repeat the process again.
