Singapore’s Little India

As I wove my way along Serangoon Road, I was bombarded by alternating Tamil then Hindi music from nearly every store along the route. Glittering saris and sparkling gold shops mingled with countless vegetarian restaurants.

I looked up to spy tasteful buildings that hadn’t been bulldozed to make way for another highrise. Many were brightly painted adding to the atmosphere of the busy area.

I don’t have much interest in returning to Singapore. It is too hot for a start.
