A prehistoric cave

Within Cuc Phuong National Park, 7500 years ago hunter gathers had once inhabited a cave.

Although the cave was merely a stuffy hollow no more than two hectares in area, it was easy to imagine people had once sheltered within the stone walls. Tools, animal bones and even tombs were discovered back in 1966, making the site important historically.
