Puducherry’s French Quarter

I roamed back and forth along streets designated as the French Quarter.

A French tourist staying at my homestay advised I look out for buildings with columns. Most of them were a bit of a disappointment, but at least one stood out as stylish.

In the thirty-two degree heat, the tree lined streets made walking easier. As well, the streets closer to the beach were surprisingly quiet.

  1. We visited Pondicherry in the month of January. It was pleasant enough to walk along the promenade and explore some of the old buildings. 32 deg is hot! I’ve heard that temperatures are steadily rising.
