The Old Quarter’s Hang Bac Temple

This was definitely the last temple of my Vietnamese visit. At least that’s what I told myself during my final days in Hanoi. I was enticed by the narrow passageway and then up steps.

Narrow passage way in the Old Quarter; not one I would walk at night

It was a sight that could easily be missed. Inside the scene was something I hadn’t seen before. Puppets were arranged like a choir on both sides of the altar while prayer books waited on the carpet.
