An evening with Spoken Ink

As writers, it’s a joy to share our work. While we may read for only five or ten minutes, we’ve deliberated over the piece for hours; coming back weeks, months and even years later to fine-tune the work.

So when fellow writer, Farida Somjee and I were invited to Spoken INK to share our stories set in Tanzania, we journeyed to Burnaby. To our surprise our mentor and critique leader, award winning author, Eileen Kernaghan was there to support us.
