South Indian Sunset

Living in rainy Vancouver, I don’t often have an opportunity to witness a sunset. In Puducherry however, I stayed in a homestay with a rooftop and quaint shady nook where sunsets embellished the sky daily.IMG_1608

Crows squawked and swooped across the sky as I waited for the sun to set. One crow moved and before long, the rest flittered over to join it. Neighbours removed washing from clotheslines as I checked the sky. Another suspicious character climbed from one roof to another hauling an electrical wire to connect from his property to one three roofs away.IMG_1611

Then the sun slowly set.
