Emily Carr

After the Picasso exhibition at the Vancouver Art Gallery, Emily Carr never looked better. When I first moved to Canada, I didn’t get what the fuss was about with regard to this B.C. artist.

Years later when I’ve become more familiar with our west coast forests and First Nation art, I’d come to see what others were drawn to in her work.
