Grandville Island Markets

One large wrought iron building housed the markets. Fresh produce smacked me in the eye with radiant colours; jewellery sparkled from overhead lights; and the aroma of soaps wafted over me as I meandered around stalls.

While it was quiet outside on that sunny Friday afternoon, inside the market was a buzz with crowds of shoppers squeezing past tempting displays.

Outside, against False Creek, were tables to take in both the view and the fresh offerings available with Burrard Street Bridge in the near distance.
