Quesnel Forks Ghost Town

Just before 150 Mile House, I turned off the highway. I wanted to explore the ghost town thirteen kilometres from Likely.

Apart from a few old log cabins, there was a graveyard. A couple of residents were buried in 1999 which didn’t seem too long ago to be considered a ghost town. But closer to the rushing river swirling past in a wide swing, were some older graves poking up out of the long grass. One sign stated that it was the Chinese section but all the remains had been excavated and returned to China.
