Hiking Trail to Bukit Timah’s Summit

This was only a 1.3 kilometre hike up hill all the way to Singapore’s highest point — a mere 163 metres above sea level. I expected a view when I reached the top, but the thick forest prevented seeing any further than the summit’s boundary.

There were two routes during the last leg of the climb: a gradual climb; or cut three hundred metres off the hike and take the steps straight up. I opted for the gradual climb going up and the steps coming down.
