Port Fairy

The small coastal town of Port Fairy in western Victoria, offered two beaches: one rocky where surfers gliding in on perfect surf; the other with a sandy beach and tiny waves.

Port Fairy’s beautiful beach against the Southern Ocean

This was a tastefully preserved town with original sandstone houses and old style shop fronts. I wished I could have strolled the streets, but it was the end of our Great Ocean Road stay before we headed back to Melbourne, and I was still immobile.
