Giant Trees of Singapore’s Botanic Gardens

The Botanic Gardens were full of giants, not only along the rain forest walk, but throughout the gardens.

Cotton from the kapok tree is used to stuff pillows.

I was surprised by how tall the kapok trees were as well as the native fast growing pulai. For me, the strangest tree was the cannonball tree. It was not hard to see how it got it’s name.
