Even if you don’t venture inside the Heidi Modern Art Museum in Bulleen just out of Melbourne, meandering around the vast grounds you’ll discover an array of sculpture.

Some were tucked away within the grounds of the Reed’s second modern home; others were scattered over the area originally owned by the family.

I’d visited the galleries on my last Melbourne visit when Arthur Boyd’s work was on display. This time there was a section devoted to female artists as well as other prominent Australian artists.
