Downtown Singapore

This area of the city consisted of modern highrise contrasted against grand buildings constructed during the British Colonial era.

I followed the Singapore River where workers rushed past while I strolled at a leisurely pace. Over Anderson Bridge were the Colonial buildings. Like most of Singapore, the structures were well maintained and the walkways litterless.

Great contrast across Singapore River between old and new seen from Raffles’s statue
