What do you do when it’s -30?

No matter how many layers of clothes I wear, stepping outside when it’s -20 or lower, doesn’t cut it for me; and I’m sure I’m not the only one to feel this way.

I’ve experienced down to -35 and I don’t want to go through that again. Even yesterday’s temperature of -22 was a little too much for me, but now it’s dropped even lower. My body might feel warm enough, but my face felt the sting of the well below zero Calgary winter.

There seemed to be one thing people did because of the freezing temperature— head to the mall. Walking by shops wasn’t the pleasure of a hike through a forest, but at least it got the blood circulation going.

  1. It’s funny how in Canada people go to the malls because it’s too cold outside, while in Southeast Asia we go to the malls because it’s too hot. Where would we go if malls are closing down because people prefer shopping online then?
