Jumping off point — Cleveland Dam

Located in North Vancouver on the edge of Capilano River Regional Park, this dam was constructed in the 1950s to supply water to Vancouver.

While here was a park around the edge of the dam, I wasn’t there to picnic. I was about to turn my back on the large expanse of water and head down a trail leading to the Capilano River.
