Arriving within North Vancouver’s Capilano River Regional Park, it wasn’t hard to see how ice and water carved away the canyon while we hiked the Coho Loop.

With so much water rushing over the Cleveland Dam’s fifty metre high spillway, Capilano River continued to change the canyon: moving pebbles and boulders; creating pools and gravel bars.
We zigzagged back and forth across wooden bridges to catch glimpses of this pristine setting.
