I crossed the sparkling waters of Moreton Bay from Redland Bay Pier to Russell Island. The journey was once a long haul in a slow wooden boat. Now the crossing took no time.

The island may have been my beginnings, but my memories are from visits years later to my aunt and uncle’s farm. While the island was once covered in farms, most of the land is sadly subdivided. Two remaining farms exist, and while the size of my aunt’s farm has dwindled, the view across the water to Karragarra Island remains unchanged.
I’m glad you’ve been able to capture the lifestyle as it used to be.

Yes, I think you referred to it once, during one of our critiquing sessions!
