Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens

Last visit to Brisbane, I walked through the downtown botanical gardens. This visit I ventured through Brisbane’s second and newer botanical gardens located at the foot of Mt Cootha.

Unfortunately, my favourite section in any botanic gardens, the herb section was closed off. All I could do was eye the curry leaf tree through a fence too far away to inhale its distinctive aroma.

Still there were a number of trees that caught my eye and a stroll through any landscape of trees and shrubs made for a relaxing afternoon.
