Gyemyeongam Hermitage

Gyemyeongam Hermitage entrance stood across from Cheongyeonam Hermitage. I discovered after a while that the 100 metre sign wasn’t accurate, but I persisted, climbing the 500 steps until I reached the site.

This was a simple hermitage, but there were still Buddhists kneeling inside, deep in prayer.

From the wall that bordered the small site was a spectacular view of Busan below with one set of high rise apartments after another until in the distance, a tiny glimpse of the Sea of Japan was visible.
