
I passed a long stretch of dark sandy beach hearing the Pacific’s waves crashed on shore. I reached Cingshuei Cliffs where the Liwu River cascaded down some 3000 metres into the sea. A long sandbank from Liwu River’s sand and gravel curved into the aqua waters.

This five kilometres of coast was Taiwan’s tallest coastal cliffs that were almost vertical and I left this view point heading into Taroko National Park.
Wow! I remember this view. I wish we could’ve hiked here. 😦
