I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve been to Albert Park, but some how the lake alluded me. So I set out on an errand detouring with determination to walk by St Kilda’s lake.

Cancer country

Port Phillip Bay stretched around on its eastern side with one perfect beach after another. For me, the only disappointment was being a bay, the sea was like swimming in a lake, flat with no surf.

By a different Albert Park

I hoped to wander through Albert Park, but it was out of bounds while workers assembled grandstands for a buzzing weekend ahead. It was Melbourne’s Grande Prix.

A Cricket Nation

It’s not just India that’s addicted to cricket. On my last visit to Melbourne, Australia verses India cricket series was broadcast from India while the cricket season in Australia was wrapping up.

A stroll through Melbourne’s Middle Park

Walking the dogs through Middle Park, I was in awe. The Melbourne suburb is an inner city suburb with Albert Park and St Kilda on one side and Port Phillip Bay on the other. I whipped out my camera at the unique vegetation.
