This was where I couldn’t understand how prices for different sites in Taiwan were decided. Maohitou definitely wasn’t worth the T$30 while at this nature park, there was so much to see and it was free. 

Orchids, Orchids and more Orchids

Singapore’s orchid garden was a photographer’s delight. Most of the varieties grown in the botanic gardens were in flower so there was one beautiful specimen after another — over a thousand species according to the brochure.

Me, a bicycle and Ong Dung Beach

It was an uphill battle all the way to Ong Dung Beach and I ended up dismounting my bike and walking. Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise because, growing overly hot from the repressive heat, I stopped along the route under a shady patch to cool down.
