I drove to Cape Reinga with the last seventeen kilometres on unsurfaced road. Turning south, a deserted beach curved to the next point while wind gnashed the air. To the east, lay more isolated beaches left to gulls, wind and beautiful vegetation. Continue reading The very north of New Zealand
