South-west from Seongsan was Seongeup Folk Village. I was hesitant about visiting this site because I’d already seen Jeju Island’s traditional houses when I entered Stone Park. But the difference was Stone Park contained replicas, Seongeup was the real thing. Continue reading Seongeup Folk Village

This herb garden was half way between Seongsan and Seogwipo on the south-east coast of Jeju Island. There were not only gardens of herbs and fragrant flowers, but accommodation available for those seeking natural treatments. I sampled herbal tea that was one of the best I’d ever tasted.
