Sungei Buloh Wetlands’ Coastal Trail
There were silver fish cutting up the water in the tidal ponds, but it was hard to discover what kind they were. Along the Coastal Trail when I peered into the water past Kingfisher Pond, a whole other world opened up. A variety of creatures intertwined and swam in a maze like world. Singapore’s National Art Gallery

Fuk Tak Chi
Surrounded by modern skyscrapers, this building had been a temple where Chinese immigrants could meet until the 1990s. When I entered, the front room was converted into a small museum, as well cared for as the elaborately designed doors at the entrance. Continue reading Fuk Tak Chi
