Phong Nha Cave

From Phong Nha, I took a boat ride up the Son River. The river flows from Laos and during the wet season, the deep green changes to red; thus the name translated means lipstick.

The glowworms of Waitomo Caves

Before we entered the cave, south of Auckland, our guide informed us to remain silent. Any noise we made, would frighten the glowworms. This silence, added to the magic of the boat tour.
