A flower lover’s paradise

I never visited any city like Dalat before where flowers dominated every park, garden and even the divide down the middle of some roads.

Respite from the heat in Floral City

As the bus rallied uphill over a narrow, winding road, the temperature dropped to the low twenties and I knew it wouldn’t be long before I was in Dalat.

Tet: Vietnamese New Year

In Dalat, shops and restaurants were decorated for Tet, which appeared identical to Chinese new year in Vancouver. Hoards of people hovered over flowers and potted plants while I anticipated more.
