With so much driftwood marooned on Campbell River’s tide line, a carving competition was someone’s bright idea.

See what I mean? This was along the shore right where the art display was held

People milled about between carvings hosted by Campbell River Shoreline Arts where most were larger than the tallest person. It was easy to spot the winners. Their work definitely stood out from the rest.
